MS NORRONA

Built in Bremen and launched in 2004, the state of the art Norrona was specifically designed to ply the North Atlantic and fitted out with car deck space for 800 cars and accommodation for 1400 passengers in a variety of cabin configurations. Doubling as both a cargo and passenger ship, the Norrona's hull profile may not be that of a Carnival Cruise liner but the eye deceives: she is fitted with stabilizers designed to produce cruise liner stability at 21 knots; her air conditioned main public and restaurant areas are all outboard with panoramic windows on deck 5 upwards, close to the ship's centre of buoyancy for maximum passenger comfort and some 80% of the crew are hospitality and catering staff there to cater for your every need.

In the ship's public areas you can sybaritically while away your voyage in one of 3 restaurants [cafeteria, buffet or a la carte]; relax to live piano music in the Naust lounge; dance the night away in the Viking bar; take a dip in the swimming pool; get a tan in the sauna, tighten up your abs in the gym; catch a movie in the ship's cinema; play games in the gaming room; take the children to play in their own play area; chance your luck in the gaming room; whale spot, sun bathe or enjoy a cocktail on the lounge deck or shop till you drop in the tax free arcade which has a range of perfumery, drinks, Scandinavian delicatessen foods and branded outdoor designer clothes and equipment.
