Have a family holiday with a touch of adventure to it and one that you enjoy as much as the children. Stay in the heart of Iceland's 'Golden Circle' right by the hot springs at Geysir with Gullfoss and Pingvellir just a short drive away whilst taking your pick from whitewater rafting; hiking, kayaking or glacier walking.

DAY 1 UK-REYKJAVÍK- HEKLA Scheduled Icelandair flight to Reykjavík. Collect hire car at the airport, drive to Hotel Hekla near Selfoss for 4 nights.
DAY 2 HEKLA You might want to acclimatize yourselves today, drive to Geysir and wander down through the hot springs field from Strokkur, past bubbling pits and steaming fumaroles and then drive up to Gullfoss, the extraordinary double waterfall whose waters drop down in a curtain and then twist tortuously down a long gorge.
DAY 3 HEKLA Sightseeing or optional excursions.
DAY 4 HEKLA Sightseeing or optional excursions.
DAY 5 HEKLA- REYKJAVÍK –UK After breakfast drive down the Reykjanes peninsula to the Blue Lagoon for a valedictory bathe before returning hire car to the airport and return flight to UK.
