Discover an ideal (and perhaps the most authentically Norwegian) way to enjoy the scenically dramatic areas of Fjord Norway, with a week in a cottage (Hytte), close to idyllic hamlets and on, or by, one of the great Fjords.

Ranging in style from farmhouse cottage to ‘Rorbu’ style fisherman’s huts our unique portfolio of quality homes throughout Fjord Norway covers the area from Geiranger, down by Loen to the Sognefjord and over the mountains at Voss to the tranquillity of Ulvik in Hardanger. Each has been independently checked by our agents who pride themselves on quality control and knowing Fjord Norway better than most. Furnished in homely Norwegian style, all properties have hot and cold running water; electricity (included in the price); a shower or bath and WC. FREE use of a boat is available with most cottages and linen hire is generally available for around 70 NOK per person.

CRUISE OR FLY

As well as a Cruise/Drive (from Newcastle with Fjord Line) you can take a ‘with car hire on arrival’ Fly/Drive option. Your holiday price includes an appropriate area Motoring Map; detailed route instructions; acclimatisation on arrival by the owner (or representative) and pre-ordering of groceries if required. Cruise/Drive prices exclude a final hotel night in Bergen which may be necessary to accommodate the ferry sailing schedule. If this is the case your overnight will be at the Strand Hotel which is a short drive from the Fjord Line terminal.

CHOOSING YOUR HOLIDAY COTTAGE

We offer a choice of cottages, all privately owned, so to get things started, please telephone us to discuss your requirement. We can advise on local driving times, excursion possibilities and check availability for you but please note that we must hold your completed booking form and deposit payment before we can confirm a booking for any particular property. Cottage bookings are only available as part of an inclusive tour.
