DAY 1 UK – REKJAVÍK Scheduled Icelandair flight to Reykjavík. Transfer on arrival to and overnight at Hótel Leifur Eiriksson for three nights.
DAY 2 GOLDEN CIRCLE EXCURSION Highlights: Gullfoss Waterfall: Geysir: Pingvellir National Park: Viking Parliament.
DAY 3 REKJAVÍK Day at leisure.
DAY 4 REKJAVÍK – AKUREYRI 7.30 am flight from Reykjavik to Akureyri. Bus transfer to, via Godafoss Waterfall, and overnight at Hotel Reynihlid for three nights. Afternoon at leisure.
DAY 5 MVATN EXCURSION Morning at leisure. Afternoon highlights: Krafla mountain and the explosive crater: Hverir bubbling sulphur mud pots: Dimmuborgir towering lava formations.
DAY 6 HÚSAVÍK WHALE SPOTTING Highlight: Afternoon Whale & dolphin spotting tour.
DAY 7 AKUREYRI – REYKJAVÍK Free time to explore the Myvatn area further: Late afternoon departure by bus to Akureyri airport for early evening scheduled Air Iceland flight to Reykjavík. Overnight at Hotel Leifur Eiriksson.
DAY 8 REYKJAVÍK – UK Transfer to the airport via the mystical Blue Lagoon, Grindavik harbour and the Reykjanes Peninsula ending at Keflavik airport. Scheduled Icelandair flight to UK.
