As an alternative to our 'Classic Ice Break Weekend', we have a 'Weekday Safari' for those clients who wish to fly to Swedish Lapland on an early morning flight, stay in Jukkasjarvi for 3 nights and book excursions on a 'pick and mix' basis.
The hotel consists of Absolut Bar, cinema, art gallery, consecrated chapel, open air theatre and choice of bedrooms or suites with everything sculpted from ice. Guests sleep in special thermal Arctic sleeping bags on ice beds topped with reindeer skins.
The wider complex also includes a restaurant serving traditional Lappish food and “warm accommodation” of differing types. There are Kaamos hotel style rooms, with with private wc/shower; 10 Country cabins with two bedrooms (one double and one with bunk beds) kitchenette and private shower/wc and 20 Northern Lights chalets. The latter have one double and one single bedroom, private wc/shower and skylights through which you can see the stars of the Arctic night.
