HUSKY MUSHING WITH SVEN ENGHOLM

DAY 1 UK – KARASJOK Scheduled Finnair flight(s) to Ivalo via Helsinki. Private transfer to the husky farm in Karasjok, northern Norway. Overnight on the husky farm in a log house.

DAY 2 HUSKY ADVENTURE Begin your day helping to prepare your team before setting off across the Finnmark plateau and its landscape of tundra, fells, frozen lakes and marshes. Along the way you may catch sight of reindeer grazing. Overnight in a wilderness hytte (hut), before which you help settle and feed the dogs and prepare your own meal.

DAY 3 HUSKY ADVENTURE Safari in the local area with lunch around an open fire in the winter reindeer’s grazing grounds. Return to your hytte for the night.

DAY 4 HUSKY ADVENTURE Mush across the plateau back to the lodge where, after helping to bed down the dogs, you can enjoy a logwood sauna before a farewell meal in the Barta.

DAY 5 KARASJOK – UK Breakfast and private car transfer to Ivalo airport for scheduled Finnair flight(s) via Helsinki to Heathrow.
