Lying 250 miles above the Arctic Circle and the plains of Norwegian Lapland, is Ongajok mountain farm about as far away from modern life as it’s possible to get. Perfect for a wedding with family and friends you can be married in nearby Kafjord Church or at the farm.

An exquisite group of traditional wooden buildings meticulously restored & renovated providing charming rooms and a restaurant. Espen & Line Ottem pride themselves on their kitchen, serving up such delicacies as hare ragout, reindeer grilled with wild mushrooms, cloudberry ice cream, etc, etc. To make everything that much more special a wedding party here would have exclusive use of the farm. So you need to have at least 8 family & friends with you.

DAY 1 UK – ALTA Scheduled SAS flight(s) to Alta via Oslo. Transfer to Vica Hotel for 2 nights.
DAY 2 ALTA Day at leisure, take an optional excursion or just relax and prepare for the big day.
DAY 3 ONGAJOK/KAFJORD Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to Ongajok with the bride and groom travelling the last few miles by horse drawn sleigh. Wedding at either Ongajok (civil) or Kafjord Church (religious) followed by a special (and sumptious) wedding dinner. Afterwards you are taken by snowmobile for your honeymoon night to a traditional Sami tepee (with mod cons) whilst your guests stay in one of the farm’s individually decorated rooms.
DAY 4 Breakfast and transfer back to the Vica Hotel and overnight in the hotel’s honeymoon suite.
DAY 5 Leisurely champagne breakfast in your room before transfer to Alta and return flight(s) back to London.
